Sputnik reports that Twitter permanently shut down a site allegedly connected to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, @KhameneiSite, after it posted a video depicting the assassination of a man resembling former President Donald Trump while golfing on a Florida golf course. The video shows Iranian military officials’ deployment of a drone and a robotic combat vehicle, and ends with a text message to the figure’s cellphone saying, “Soleimani’s murderer and the one who gave the order will pay the price,” and a large gun pointed at the man. The reference is to Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, whom the U.S. murdered on Jan. 3, 2020, shortly after he arrived at Baghdad’s international airport. The video was shared by KhameneiSite.
