Americans in general remain unimpressed with President Biden’s handling of the economy, as well as foreign policy—especially the issue of Ukraine. U.S. political reporter Tim Korso wrote in a Sputnik article yesterday that Biden’s approval rating has fallen to 40% as the midterm elections on Nov. 8 draw closer, the latest NBC News poll conducted from March 18-22 has shown. NBC News anchor Chuck Todd devoted part of the network’s Sunday talk show to presenting the results.
“Some 71% of respondents indicated that they believe their country is ‘on the wrong track,’” he said. Americans were specifically concerned by issues related to the economy, with 64% disapproving of Biden’s handling of it; 62% said their income has shrunk. A majority of respondents considered this to be the most important issue facing the U.S.
