The World Economic Forum’s favorite energy killer, the International Energy Agency, has a new campaign and webpage, in conjunction with the EU Commission: “Playing My Part: How To Save Money, Reduce Reliance on Russian Energy, Support Ukraine and Help the Planet.” This “collaboration between the European Commission and the International Energy Agency” purports to tell EU citizens how they can help bloody Putin’s nose, but actually is more of an instruction on playing the part of Poor Tom to mad King Lear. The nine recommendations of the IEA show how the Malthusian regression of the Green New Deal is enforced on the citizens of relatively “advanced” economies by making war on the nation which supplies their fuels—never mind the starvation intended for the peoples of developing nations.
