On Monday, Deputy Director of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs information department Zhao Lijian responded to a question about the MFA’s recently released fact sheet on the National Endowment for Democracy by summarizing the MFA’s view of the NED:
“On May 7, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released the Fact Sheet on the National Endowment for Democracy on its website. The fact sheet, with about 12,000 words in six sections, lays bare the true face of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) through hundreds of specific incidents gathered from public reports.
