In remarks made today to Kossuth Radio, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated the unfolding, obvious reality for Europe in the aftermath of British-directed economic warfare against Russia (or is it actually Europe?), and otherwise noted that the sanctions haven’t changed Russian calculus concerning their actions in Ukraine.
“The sanctions do not help Ukraine—however, they are bad for the European economy and if it goes on like this, they will kill off the European economy…. What we see right now is unbearable,” the Hungarian leader stated.
Orbán also takes aim at the delusions within the European bureaucracy, saying, “The moment of truth must come in Brussels, when leaders admit they have made a miscalculation, that the sanctions policy was based on wrong assumptions, and it must be changed.”
He further warned that interest rate hikes in the U.S. “have jointly brought about the era of high inflation,” which he warns “will bring about the era of recession.” Orbán then adds useful imagery for the ongoing insanity from Europe, saying, “Initially, I thought we had only shot ourselves in the foot [with anti-Russia sanctions], but now it is clear that the European economy has shot itself in the lungs, and it is gasping for air.” He elaborates, explaining that “there will be no gas in some countries, while other countries will have gas, but it will be very expensive.”
In what appears to be an offered insight into the geopolitical realignment in the wake of the sanctions, Orbán then states that “China is winning, America is not losing and Europe is suffering.”
Orbán’s statements should be seen in the context of the unfolding political crisis in nearly every nation of Europe, as well as the United States. Everywhere in the trans-Atlantic sector, the political class now faces the pitchforks of their constituents for the repercussions of launching this war and related sanctions—all on behalf of the British Empire. The Empire has ruthlessly pursued their destructive geopolitical agenda to cover up for the fact that their City of London and Wall Street financial houses are hopelessly bankrupt.
