The situation in Europe continues very hot among farmers leading protests against the EU and national governments’ orders to curb farming, and cut food production, in the name of greening the environment. The fact that farmers are doing this in the peak season for summer crops, calving, haymaking, and other functions, shows how extreme the crisis is.
The Aug. 26 farm demonstration German farmers set for Berlin has been cancelled for that date, and word will be given for what happens there next.
