DOJ: You Can't Prove that We're Biased Against Trump

The judge today in Federal district court in West Palm Beach, Florida, made no decision regarding the question of former President Trump’s attorneys’ proposal that a Special Master be appointed in his case, and otherwise ordered that a detailed list be prepared of what the FBI took in the raid on Trump’s resident at Mar-a-Lago.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) continued their breath-taking, over-the-top offensive in the proceedings, in opposing former President Trump’s legal request for an outside, neutral Special Master to examine, for privileged material, documents for privileged materials seized by the FBI at his estate, such as attorney-client material. Also at issue are the judgments to be made as to the various papers that bear various classified markings on them but which were since declassified. On August 23, Trump’s lawyers had filed their request, documenting the demonstrated prejudice of the DOJ from the “Russiagate” political witch hunt, making it impossible for the DOJ to now present themselves as fair judges.
