Ray McGovern, Harley Schlanger Featured in Webcast on “The Great Reset” Presented by U.K. Forum for Peace and Justice
The U.K.-based Forum for Peace and Justice, run by Schiller Institute member Bernie Holland held an event on Sept. 28, which featured presentations by prominent VIPS co-founder Ray McGovern and the Schiller Institute’s Harley Schlanger. Under the title “The Great Reset,” the two presentations focused on the dangerous escalation toward World War III driven by NATO, using Ukraine to weaken Russia. Their comments were preceded by a one-hour video prepared by Holland, which featured reports from Donbass by Patrick Lancaster and Eva Bartlett; Igor Lopatonok on the CCD; comments from Col. Richard Black (ret.) and Scott Ritter on the CCD and Myrotvorets; a segment from Lyndon LaRouche’s 1988 Food for Peace presentation; and closed with a segment of Helga Zepp-LaRouche from a recent webcast, in which she said the war danger could end if the U.S. were brought into an alliance with the BRICS, and committed to a new strategic and financial architecture.
McGovern centered his remarks on demonstrating the fraud behind the claim that Putin’s Special Military Operation was “unprovoked.” Schlanger reviewed the post-1989 global battle between the Unipolar order and its global Schachtian policy, and LaRouche’s work in building a New Bretton Woods. In the dialogue following the presentations, McGovern made some dramatic comments about his concern that the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines may be the most significant development yet in initiating World War III. By depriving Germany and Russia of a potential to negotiate a diplomatic solution, based on supplying gas to a freezing Germany, the perpetrators cut off the potential for German-Russian rapprochement. He ridiculed the idea that Russia is responsible for the explosions.
