Kiev’s Center for Strategic Communication and Information Security analyzed the content of Russia’s RT news agency, and concluded that Russian state-run media do not “belong in the media space of the civilized world.” An example that they cite of such content is that RT “convinces its audiences of ‘ineffectiveness’ of Western sanctions on Russia, and calls for a halt to military assistance to Ukraine.”
That is bad enough, but the diabolical Russian government outlet, it turns out, actually broadcasts in various languages, including English, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, and German. Hence, the Information Security guys conclude: “The chances of disinformation being spread internationally magnify.”
