Ukraine Runs Out of Replacement Equipment for Power Plants

The executive director of Ukraine’s largest private power utility, DTEK Holding, Dmitry Sakharuk, explained to Ukrainian media today that they had run out of equipment to repair damage inflicted by Russian attacks. Major Ukrainian cities were plunged into darkness from the third wave of attacks upon electrical systems. “Unfortunately, we have already used up the stock of equipment we had in warehouses after the first two waves of enemy attacks that have been taking place since Oct. 10.”
