Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev threw cold water on statements at the World Economic Forum in Davos that Russia must lose: “It doesn’t occur to [Western politicians] to make... an elementary conclusion: If a nuclear power loses a conventional war, that could trigger a nuclear war,” Medvedev said on Telegram, according to TASS. “Nuclear powers haven’t lost major conflicts that were pivotal for their destiny. It has to be obvious to any person, even to a Western politician.”
