World Food Prices Rose 14% Over 2022, Reports UN FAO

The UN Food and Agriculture Organization reported Jan. 6 that overall, food prices rose more than 14% in 2022, from the prior year. For many food import-dependent nations, the rise was much higher, and hunger and starvation are increasing.
