US Secretary of State Blinken and Russian Foreign Secretary Lavrov had a short meeting today in New Delhi, on the sidelines of the G20 Foreign Ministers meeting. The meeting lasted only about 10 minutes. Blinken said, according to US media, that he made three points to Lavrov: 1) that the United States will continue to support Ukraine; 2) that Russia should rejoin START; and 3) that Paul Whalen, the American prisoner in Russia, should be set free.
