Bulgaria Joins Opposition to Ban on Fuel for Internal Combustion Vehicles

Bulgaria has joined Germany, Italy and Poland in opposing the banning of petrol and diesel cars as of 2035. “The most sensitive issues for the country regarding decarbonization in the transport sector remain the relatively high price of electric vehicles against the background of the extremely low incomes of the population in the country, as well as the lack of a developed charging infrastructure” the Bulgarian government told Euractiv.
