The US Air Force wants to spend $73 billion on the B-21 bomber and the Sentinel ICBM over the next 5 years, Bloomberg reported yesterday. For the B-21, that’s $10.6 billion for development and $20.8 for procurement, for a fleet expected to comprise at least 100 bombers. For the Sentinel ICBM the plan calls for $38.5 billion, including about $15 billion in research and development and $19 billion in procurement.
