Germany Defies Democracy to Shut Down Nuclear Energy Plants

As of April 15, Germany’s last three nuclear plants were shut down in spite of the fact, according to a FORSA survey, only 28% of Germans backed the action. A full 67% surveyed supported not only keeping them open, but also bringing the previously shutdown plants back online. Yet German politicians still blithely go abroad lecturing others on democracy.
