The African peace delegation has arrived in Kiev, where discussions are underway with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and other officials. The African leaders will then go to St. Petersburg on June 17.

Of the seven African heads of state initially announced as planning a mission to Kiev and Moscow, the final tally is four: South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Senegalese President Macky Sall, Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema, and President of the African Union and President of the Union of Comoros Azali Assoumani.
