Blinken Reiterates: XI Jinping Is a Dictator

After U.S. President Joe Biden called Chinese President Xi Jinping a dictator on June 20, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that this is, to a notable extent, U.S. policy. Appearing on CBS News’s Face the Nation show June 25, when asked about Biden’s statement, rather than disavow it, Blinken said, “The President always speaks candidly, he speaks directly. He speaks clearly, and he speaks for all of us.”
