Russian Oil Producer Gazprom Neft Has Switched All Sales to Yuan and Rubles

Gazprom Neft, a subsidiary of the energy giant Gazprom, is now selling oil abroad only in rubles in yuan, RT reported on Sept. 24. CEO Aleksandr Dyukov spoke on the sidelines of the Industrial and Energy Forum (TNF) that took place on Sept. 18-21 in the oil-rich Tyumen Region in Siberia, and noted that the company is also not using the Indian rupee. “We don’t use rupees. We mainly use yuan and rubles. We have practically moved away from payments in dollars and euros,” he said.
