NASA Rep Tells TASS U.S. May Join Russia-China Lunar Station Project

In a comment to TASS, Tiffany Travis, Strategic Communications Manager for NASA’s Gateway Program, said this week that the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration is leaving the door open to its potential participation in Russia and China’s International Lunar Research Station (ILRS). In answer to a question by TASS on whether NASA would cooperate with Russia and China in the ILRS,Travis replied that there were always opportunities that could be explored, as there is always an opportunity to learn and join. The doors should always be kept open, she asserted.
