Talk of Gaza-Related Terrorism Is Being Used To Squelch Anti-War Protests in Europe and the U.S.

At the same time that FBI director Christopher Wray was telling a congressional hearing Dec. 5 that “I’ve never seen a time where all the threats or so many of the threats are all elevated, all at exactly the same time,” and that the FBI is “especially concerned about the possibility of [Hamas] supporters engaging in violence on the group’s behalf,” European leaders were raising a similar alarm.

RT reported Dec. 5 that EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson told reporters on Dec. 5 ahead of meeting with EU interior ministers in Brussels: “With the war between Israel and Hamas, and the polarization it causes in our society, with the upcoming holiday season, there is a huge risk of terrorist attacks in the European Union.”
