It remains to be seen if Trump’s intentionally provocative remarks at his Mar-a-Lago press conference Jan. 7 are meant to be part of his familiar NY-real-estate-style bullying approach to negotiations, and to gain headlines (they certainly did that), or if something more far-reaching is planned. That said, they have predictably led to a storm of protests and concern from various affected quarters.
