Organization of Islamic Cooperation Endorsed South Africa’s IJC Action Immediately

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation issued a statement on Dec. 30, the day after South Africa’s suit was filed Dec. 29 with the International Court of Justice against Israel charging genocide against the Palestinians. Headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the OIC has 57 member states. Its Dec. 30 statement in full:

“The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the suit filed by the Republic of South Africa at the International Court of Justice for the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people committed by Israel, the occupying power.
