Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked on CNN on Sunday, Jan. 28 about President Biden being confronted over his enabling of the deaths in Gaza: Given “the fact that we have seen protesters over and over at his events, how concerned are you that people, young people, Arab Americans, progressives ... might just stay home” in the election?
“Well, let me just say this, because I have been the vic—, the recipient of their, shall we say, exuberances….” replied Pelosi. They “unfortunately wanted to disrupt our very exciting Democratic meeting…. They’re in front of my house all the time. So I have a feeling for what feelings they have…. But for them to call for a ceasefire is Mr. Putin’s message, Mr. Putin’s message. Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what he would like to see. Same thing with Ukraine. It’s about Putin’s message.” Some demonstrators may be sincere, but some, “I think, are connected to Russia…. I think some financing should be investigated. And I want to ask the [FBI to investigate that,” she told CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday talk show.
