The China-Uzbekistan poverty reduction cooperation mechanism was officially launched Dec. 29, when a subcommittee on poverty reduction set up by those two countries met online, opening “a new chapter of poverty reduction cooperation between the two countries,” Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Wang Wenbin confirmed in his Jan. 2 press briefing.
This is China’s first such poverty reduction cooperation mechanism to function at a governmental level, but China, which has proven that the goal of making the development of everyone in the nation is imminently feasible, is ready to work with any and all countries on achieving this goal.
