March 13, 2024 (EIRNS)—Yury Borisov, head of Russia’s space agency Roscosmos, told President Vladimir Putin, on March 11 when they met to review Roscosmos’ work, that his agency is “getting ready to receive our colleagues from the BRICS countries. Russia chairs the BRICS throughout 2024. We will also meet with our colleagues from national space agencies. We worked closely with them last year, and we have tremendous prospects.” Borisov said he would inform the President about its proposals for the BRICS, but that discussion evidently occurred in the private part of their meeting.
