April 3, 2024 (EIRNS)—Among the ways in which wanton genocide continues to be perpetrated in Gaza is by denial of food, water and medicine to its inhabitants, as well as by the scorched-earth policy of turning the area’s housing and other buildings into rubble. The World Bank has now published an estimate that $18.5 billion in infrastructure has been destroyed in Gaza, three-quarters of which (some $14 billion) is flattened housing. Back in January, The Economist reports, “Gaza’s water and sanitation system were delivering less than 5% of pre-war output.”
