Algeria and Rosatom signed a civil nuclear roadmap at the Atomexpo-2024 forum. Speaking to Sputnik Afrique, member of the Schiller Institute in France and author of the book Voir l’Afrique avec les yeux du futur [View Africa with the Eyes of the Future] comments on the significance of this document.
“It’s already been over a decade since Russia, and in particular Rosatom, offered African countries a complete program for setting up nuclear power plants, training, monitoring and management,” recalls Sébastien Périmony, a member of the Schiller Institute in France.
