New Government in Croatia

According to Euractiv, on May 17 the Croatian parliament approved the formation of a new coalition government. Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic announced a new government with the nationalist Homeland Movement (DP). Plenkovic’s center-right Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) will keep its ministers of Internal Affairs and Culture. The Homeland Movement will have the Ministry of Agriculture and the newly formed Ministry of Demography. In 2013, Plenkovic was the vice-president of the EU Committee on Foreign Affairs and chairman of the delegation for Ukraine.
