How Far Will Britain Go To Avoid Nuclear Energy? About 2,500 Miles

The Wall Street Journal calls attention to a British plan to lay an undersea cable about 2,500 miles long, to connect solar and wind farms in Morocco to consumers in the U.K., according to the Curious—yet more curious is that hardly anyone blinks.

While one might expect an advanced economy to export technology to develop North Africa, what we find here is a post-industrial economy which is dependent upon economic colonialism—just to keep its lights on.
