Hopefully some of the Republican concerns over the danger and irresponsibility of having the finger of Joe Biden, in his condition, on the nuclear button, reflect some degree of concern over the strategic situation—and not just scoring political points. Either way, it is worth Americans being confronted with the reality of the situation.
Over the last 24 hours, more voices weighed in on the subject. Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC), chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, posted on X: “This is a scandal of historic proportions. President Biden is incapacitated, Democrats knew, and they lied to the American people to cover it up. If Biden is mentally unfit to campaign, he is mentally unfit to have the nuclear codes.”
