The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church-USA (PCUSA) reported on July 3 their vote to divest from Israeli bonds and from companies supplying weapons to Israel. PCUSA condemned Israel’s apartheid, its settler colonialism, its two sets of laws, its expropriating of Palestinian land and water, and its division of the population along racial lines. It condemns all military occupations. PCUSA voted to condemn Christian Zionism and any religious or ethnic ideology that justifies the taking of land and displacing of people.
