Lt. Col. Earl Rasmussen (ret.) gave an interview to Sputnik on August 25 to confirm that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. ‘s speech of August 23 in Arizona, accusing the U.S. administration of launching the Ukraine conflict against Russia was spot on. Sputnik quoted Rasmussen as saying: “Biden is not interested in peace. They’re not interested in democracy. They don’t care about Ukraine. And Georgia, for that matter, has always been looked at as a mechanism to further encircle and weaken Russia.”
Sputnik quoted from Kennedy’s speech: “Tiny Ukraine is a proxy in a geopolitical struggle initiated by the ambitions of the U.S. neocons for American global hegemony. In April 2022, we wanted the war. President Biden sent [then-British Prime Minister] Boris Johnson to Ukraine to force President [Volodymyr] Zelenskyy to tear up a peace agreement that he and the Russians had already signed,’ he added. ‘That peace agreement would have brought peace to the region.”
