An Israeli cabinet minister says that blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza could be “justified and moral,” while lawmakers and TV guests accept and even encourage raping detained Palestinians.
Israel is only allowing aid into Gaza “because there is no choice,” says Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, according to the Times of Israel. “Nobody will let us cause 2 million civilians to die of hunger even though it might be justified and moral until our hostages are returned, but what can we do?” he lamented. “We live today in a certain reality, we need international legitimacy for this war.”
