Peace Is High Priority for Brandenburg Voters

The latest opinion polls in Brandenburg show the Greens, with 4.5%, falling below the 5% mark that it needs to be seated in the state parliament. Although the final result in the Sunday Sept. 22 Landtag election also depends on how 25% of the undecided voters will cast their ballots, the Greens losing parliamentary status corresponds with the fact that peace and diplomacy rank second in voters’ preferences. Migration is ranking first, jobs are third, health is fourth, climate protection comes far behind at position five or six.

The Greens’ role as the number-one war party does not resonate with 95% of voters, nor does their climate obsession. Pro-Green activities like the Friday4Future rallies in German cities launched all of sudden yesterday, will not change that. The Greens are rapidly declining to gray.
