The Russian Defense Ministry reported this morning that Russian air defenses shot down 158 Ukrainian drones over 15 Russian regions overnight. “At night, 46 UAVs were destroyed over Kursk region, 34 UAVs over Bryansk region, 28 UAVs over Voronezh region, 14 UAVs over Belgorod region, eight UAVs over Ryazan region, two over Moscow, seven over Moscow region, five over Kaluga region, four over Lipetsk region, three over Tula region, two UAVs over Tambov region, two UAVs over Smolensk region, one over Oryol region, one over Tver region, and one over Ivanovo region,” the statement said.

Some drones got through, however. According to Avia.pro today, drones hit two thermal power plants in the Tver region, causing a fire at one of them. The fire was reportedly quickly brought under control, however. There was also a fire at the Moscow Oil Refinery, where fragments of a drone damaged a separate technical room during its fall. That fire, too, was brought quickly under control. “Despite the intensity of the attacks, most drones were successfully intercepted and serious damage was avoided,” reported Avia.pro. “Authorities and emergency services continue to assess the situation and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and infrastructure.”
