Some People Can’t Wait for Ukraine To Hit Russia with Long-Range Missiles

Britain’s iNews agency is salivating at all of the targets Ukrainian forces could hit with ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles, once they have the freedom to do so. Launched from Ukraine, they could strike Russia’s Southern Military District headquarters in Rostov-on-Don and the Black Sea Fleet naval base in Novorossiysk, according to James Bosbotinis, a defense and international affairs expert. “It is vital for Ukraine to strike Russian targets, in order to disrupt Russian military operations in Ukraine,” Bosbotinis told iNews. “This will contribute to key tasks such as defending Ukrainian cities from attack. Air defenses can intercept drones and missiles, but it is much more effective to shoot the archer rather than the individual arrows, or to conduct what are called counterforce operations.”
