Afghan Taliban Delegation to Attend Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok

A delegation representing the Taliban government of Afghanistan will attend the annual Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok over Sept. 4-6. The Afghan delegation represents the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a TASS correspondent reports. This is despite the fact that the Taliban is still considered illegal by the Russian government which TASS reminds its readers. Representatives of the delegation told TASS that discussions of “joint business work” was the reason for their visit to Vladivostok.
