In a documentary produced by Arte, given the English title “Israel: Extremists in Power,” Israel’s Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich calls for Israel to expand its borders to Damascus in a recent documentary. He said that Israel should “expand little by little” and reportedly said it should incorporate part or all of present-day Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, reports Middle East Eye.
“It is written that the future of Jerusalem is to expand to Damascus,” he is quoted as saying.
