The Chinese news agency Xinhua has reported that China has discovered a huge gold deposit in the central province of Hunan, RT reported. It is believed to hold over 1,000 tons of gold, worth $83 billion at today’s prices. China is already the world’s leading gold producer, with some 10% of global output in 2023.
