Insolvencies in the “business-related services” sector in Germany are 31 percent higher in Q3 of this year than in the previous year. Insolvencies in the real estate and housing sectors are even higher, at 69 percent. Trying to build apartment houses is a loss for companies, due to high energy and material prices, but also due to costly required expenses created by radical ecology considerations, which make the square meter largely unsaleable. The number of potential customers who can afford to pay 18 euros or more for a square meter of housing is very low.
