Sliver of Resistance in U.S. Congress to U.S. Permanent War Policy

Five members of the U.S. House of Representatives, led by Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Cori Bush (D-MO), are questioning President Joe Biden’s authority to send U.S. forces to the Middle East, particularly the THAAD battery in Israel, contending that a “deepening American involvement” is unconstitutional as it was not authorized by Congress, reported The Hill yesterday.
