Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei has categorically denied media reports that there was a meeting between Elon Musk and the Islamic Republic’s Ambassador to the UN. Speaking with IRNA on Nov. 16, Baghaei dismissed the “false reports” carried by U.S. media outlets that Musk had met with Iran’s Ambassador Amir Saeed Iravani in New York. Baghaei reportedly expressed surprise over the extensive propagation by American media outlets on the alleged meeting.
