Nikki Haley, who served as the U.S. Ambassador to the UN under President Trump, attacked his nomination of Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence on her SiriusXM show “Nikki Haley Live.” Note that her offensive is coinciding with a re-emergence of Islamic Jihadists targeting the Syrian government. Note also that Gabbard is very knowledgeable about the role the CIA and MI6 have played in sponsoring “Islamic terrorism,” and, if confirmed, will preside over U.S. intelligence agencies that have deployed fundamentalist terrorists operating on behalf of Anglo-American imperial interests. Those opposing her confirmation, such as Haley, are fearful that Gabbard may expose the past murderous corruption of these agencies, and end future deployments.
Haley read through a list of reasons why Gabbard’s confirmation allegedly threatens national security. “She opposed ending the Iran nuclear deal. She opposed sanctions on Iran. She opposed designating the Iran military as terrorists who say, ‘Death to America’ every single day, and she was opposed to the assassination of [General Qassem] Soleimani,” the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, whose Jan. 3 2020 assassination in Baghdad was ordered by President Trump.
Haley continued through her list. “Donald Trump turned the U.S. into Saudi Arabia’s prostitute.” She also said that Gabbard pushed Putin talking points in claiming that NATO expansion is the cause of the war in Ukraine against Russia. She continued: “Iran is our number one sponsor of terrorism, and Tulsi Gabbard was defending Iran,” declaring that the DNI intelligence post overseeing 18 critical agencies was “not a place for a Russian, Iranian, Syrian, Chinese sympathizer.”
