It is an understatement to assert that human civilization is in mortal danger. Circles of the “Collective West” are perpetrating lies, military force, and provocation even to the point of triggering nuclear holocaust, and at the same time conducting financial warfare, and practices promoting economic breakdown, including for their own populations.
No wonder government itself is shaky from country to country in the Trans-Atlantic. On Nov. 5, the U.S. electorate voted resoundingly against the economic collapse, and the chicken hawks making war everywhere. This same viewpoint was seen in recent elections in the Eastern lands of Slovakia, Hungary, Romania,in the Eastern states of Germany, and not long ago in the Netherlands and elsewhere. But the has-been powers in Washington, London and Brussels reject the meaning of the vote, and continue their evil insanity.
These war hawk elites are promoting warfare in Syria, to spread conflict in Southwest Asia. The common narrative from Washington, London and Brussels is that Syria got what it deserved by relying on Russia and Iran.
“We need a mobilization of a lifetime,” was the battle cry given today by Schiller Institute leader Helga Zepp-LaRouche, speaking of citizen activation in Germany, her own country, but also applying elsewhere. The Global NATO war-making must end, the cooperation between the Global North and the Global South must begin.
So far German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, despite his shortcomings, has stood firm against approving deployment of Germany’s long-range Taurus missile system to Ukraine, for long-distance attacks inside Russia. This goes against what the U.K. Storm Shadow and U.S. ATACMS did last month, by providing their missiles and support capacity for long-range hits into Russia. France has approved its SCALP long-range missiles. Therefore the Dec. 16 vote of confidence to retain Scholz as Chancellor and his government takes on special importance as a prominent opportunity to vote against the war momentum.
In France, the government of Michel Barnier is set to fall tomorrow, with several scenarios possible of what happens next. The critical factor here is also finding people “who will raise their heads” to see and act against the larger picture of the war danger, and join the mobilization for sanity against war, and for sovereignty, economy-building measures, and North-South collaboration.
In the United States, the outgoing “Collective Biden” Administration is on a rampage. Not only were the ATACMS approved, then used in November against targets inside Russia, but they were used after the response by Russia, demonstrating its medium-range hypersonic ballistic Oreshnik missile, and after Moscow reiterated what the stakes are.
The same goes for financial/economic warfare. For example, today, the Biden Administration announced a third package of anti-China prohibitions on certain U.S. exports of components of the microchip sector, banning products to 140 Chinese firms. Several of the incoming nominees of President-elect Donald Trump are of the same view.
A mobilization of Congress to wise up fast on the danger of nuclear war is set for this week by many circles in the United States and The LaRouche Organization. Today in New York, the Schiller Institute’s new report came off the presses in a 5,000 run for mass distribution. Title: “World Development Drive Means Billions of New Jobs, No Refugees, No War.”
The circulation of this Schiller Institute discussion document is part of the buildup for the international online conference on December 7-8, “In the Spirit of Schiller and Beethoven: All Men Become Brethren!” sponsored by the Schiller Institute, where you, your friends and family can register.
Today happens to be the date, in 2014, when Executive Intelligence Review released its book-length report The New Silk Road Becomes the World Land-Bridge, in Washington, D.C. It presents a blueprint for mega-projects for integrated world development. Helga Zepp-LaRouche addressed an EIR seminar, Dec. 2, 2014, of some 100 diplomats, policy experts and citizens. Her keynote was titled “The World at a Crossroads: BRICS Paradigm, or a War of Extinction.”
Zepp-LaRouche’s opening words a decade ago, ring out now as a call to action: “I think it is a fair statement to say that the future destiny of mankind will depend on the question of whether the United States and, to a secondary degree, Europe, will take up the offer made by President Xi Jinping to President Obama at the press conference during the APEC conference [November 2014 in Beijing], where Xi invited the United States, and other major nations, to cooperate with a whole set of policies promoted by China and also the BRICS countries.”
