In late January or early February, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer plans to travel to Washington to meet with Donald Trump to “strongly urge” him to keep sending weapons to Ukraine to do battle against Russia, according to comments by Downing Street to the Jan. 4 The Times of London, as reported by RT.
This is going to be rough sledding for Mr. Starmer, whose Labour Party strongly and publicly backed Kamala Harris against Trump, even sending a sizable group of Labour organizers to the U.S. back in October to “help” her campaign. That didn’t sit well with Trump, whose campaign filed a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission, charging “blatant foreign interference” in the U.S. election.
