China Adds 28 U.S. Firms to Export Control List

China announced on Jan. 2 that export-control measures are being imposed on 28 U.S. entities, which includes military contractor General Dynamics. Chinese firms cannot export dual-use items to the listed entities. The move follows and parallels the imposition of such controls by the United States on military applications and, most notably, on microprocessors.
