New York Times Rejected an Ad over the Accusation of Israeli Genocide

Following the decision by the New York Times to reject an ad from the American Friends Service Committee, which accused the Israelis of genocide in Gaza, the Quaker organization announced they would no longer place ads in the Times. The proposed ad in question read: “Tell Congress to stop arming Israel’s genocide in Gaza now! As a Quaker organization, we work for peace. Join us. Tell the President and Congress to stop the killing and starvation in Gaza.”
