Oleksandr Dubinsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada (TASS describes him as “opposition-leaning"), charged yesterday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is preparing Ukrainians for the potential mobilization of teenagers into the army. “Surrounded … by recruitment officers, Zelenskyy is contemplating what narrative to present to justify drafting teenagers,” he wrote on his Telegram channel, reported TASS. Dubinsky earlier asserted that Zelenskyy was ready to meet a key U.S. demand by lowering the mobilization age to 18 years in exchange for Western weapon supplies.
