In an interview with the New York Post on Feb. 7, President Donald Trump seemed to claim he has spoken to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the phone. When asked how many times the two leaders have spoken, Trump said: “I’d better not say.” But he believes Putin “does care” about the killing on the battlefield. “He wants to see people stop dying,” said Trump.
Vice President Vance will reportedly meet Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Munich Security Conference next week.
